Anti-Ragging Measures and Awareness Initiatives
To ensure students are well-informed about the provisions of the Anti-Ragging Act and the serious consequences of being involved in ragging, the institution undertakes the following measures:
- Awareness Programs:
- Organizes talks and awareness sessions on Anti-Ragging and Anti-Drugs in collaboration with advocates from the Legal Services Authority, Thrissur.
- Educates students on the severe legal consequences and punishments as per the law.
- Preventive Measures:
- Conducts frequent checks across the campus to prevent any incidents of ragging.
- Displays charts, banners, and posters in strategic locations to create awareness about the seriousness of ragging and the actions that will be taken in case of any violations.
- Documentation:
- Anti-Ragging Affidavits are mandatorily collected from all students and their parents, affirming their awareness and compliance with the rules.
- Action Plan:
- Clearly communicates to students the steps to be taken in case of any ragging incidents, both inside and outside the campus.
