Training and Placement Cell is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill, and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry.
Keeping in view the industry requirements, the training curriculum is designed for preparing the students for entry-level Graduate Engineer Trainees.
The industry is always on the lookout for students who are vibrant, energetic individuals and ready to accept challenges, attentive, a good academic background, fast learners, open to learning even at work and more importantly, good communication skills. This activity focuses on the personality development to make the students reliable, with a positive attitude and right decision making.
The Training and Placement Cell is headed by a senior Placement Officer and cell is having a small group of dedicated and committed staff supported by departmental Training ,Placement Coordinators & Staff coordinators. The cell is committed to training and placement activities to facilitate the students of the Institution to get competitive placements.
Placement cell also conducts "Career Guidance Programs" to make the students aware about the different opportunities available in different areas Placement cell trains the students for their Personal Interviews through "Job Interview Trainer" They provides students a live experience for preparing the interview and guides them Do's and Don'ts in their Personal Interviews. Invites the industries to take the students for summer internship, final year and pre final year projects, vocational training and industrial visits to make the students exposure to industry environments. Eligible students will be given sufficient opportunities to get placed in the companies. Placement Cell also coordinates with the companies to help our passed out for recruitment if need arises in the companies
Internships/Industry Training & Exposure: The Placement Cell interacts with industries with which the institute has been able to develop strong and enduring associations. These interactions culminate in conduct of many activities which enhance the industry exposure of students and faculty. The industry training and internships for students are typically scheduled during the vacation period allows them to implement the learning in practice and also to understand the evolving technology landscape with focus on skill development required on their part. The institute provides support to the students to obtain permission by following regular communication with the associated industry partners apart from training slots obtained by the students on their own. The industries with which the institute has signed MoU's and many other industries are tapped for providing training/internship to the students.
